Set-up

  • Tudodesk back-office

  • Mac or PC

  • Job Display System (JDS)

What's this for?

Custom templates help you to set-up the documents you share with your customers and team. You can use templates for sharing information with team in your workshop using the Job Display system, as a PDF attachment to a customer, or when printing from Print Node.

Examples of the types of document you can create:

  • JOB SHEETS

  • WORKSHEETS OR ORDERS

  • JOB TRAVELLERS

  • JOB PRODUCTION SHEETS

  • BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS

  • REPAIR SHEETS

  • PACKING SHEETS

  • CUSTOMER FACING COPIES AND AGREEMENTS

  • QUALITY CONTROL SHEETS

  • INTERNAL BUILD SHEETS

  • INVOICES

  • QUOTES AND ESTIMATES

  • SHIPPING NOTES

What you should know

  • You can create custom templates for sharing with customers, printing, or JDS (Job display system) in the template editor.

  • You can create a macro button to print a particular document using a macro and a custom template.

  • You can specify which template is used by JDS to display paperless JOB TRAVELLERS

  • You can share customer copies of documents such as Invoices or JOB BOOKINGS using the PDF attachment feature in automated events.

  • You need to set-up PrintNode to automate your printing with templates and macros.

Common scenarios

Ideal when a workshop needs to display internal job information to its team and perhaps different information or terms and a signature box to the customer when they drop-off the job.
