Custom templates are great for:

  • JOB SHEETS

  • JOB TRAVELLERS

  • WORKSHEETS

  • SHIPPING NOTES

  • PACKING SHEETS

  • DELIVERY SLIPS

What you should know

  • You can create custom templates for sharing with customers, printing, or JDS(Job display system) in the template editor.

  • You can create a macro button to print a particular document using a macro and a custom template (such as a customer copy).

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the settings area

  2. Select the templates option in the side navigation pane

  3. Click the "+ New template" button on the right side of the main window.

  4. Choose from options JOB or SHIPPING - This sets the class of documents you are going to create and restricts where you can use your template. For example, you can only use a JOB template on a JOB board.

  5. Enter the friendly name you will use to associate your template, for example, "JOB TRAVELLER" in the name field in the properties sidebar. This name will be used as an identifier when you assign the template later.

  6. Click the "save button" to create the template.

  7. The template is displayed in the main window so you can see how it looks.

  8. Modify the properties sidebar settings; you can click "Save" at any time to see a live version of your template.

  9. When you click on any property, we offer a long explanation of what this property does in the console bar at the top of the screen.
