What you should know

  • You can create custom templates for sharing with customers, printing, or JDS(Job display system) in the template editor.

  • You can create a macro button to print a particular document using a macro and a custom template (such as a customer copy).

  • You need to set-up Print Node to automate your printing with templates and macros.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the board.

  2. Open an existing document, make sure the document is on the Status where you need to add the macro. For example if we want to print a customer copy when a job is booked and moved to "Queued" - you will need to open a document and that document be on the "Queued" status.

  3. On the macro bar click "Create macro".

  4. Enter a name for the new Macro

  5. Select a color for the button and an Icon if desired

  6. Locate section 3. "RUN A COMMAND"

  7. Select "Integrations API" from the list

  8. Select "Print Node" from the list (Note you will need to set-up and install Print Node first)

  9. Select the Printer to where you want to Print

  10. Select the custom template from the list.

  11. Add any additional commands to the macro you may require

  12. Click "Save"
