What's this for?

You can use custom job templates for sharing information such as an order, approval or booking forms with your customers. This article will show you how to set-up a document with terms and a signature box to share with customers.

What you should know

  • You can create custom templates for sharing with customers, printing, or JDS (Job display system) in the template editor.

  • Templates are assigned by class. The job board only uses templates of class JOB. But you are free to style a JOB sheet in any way you so choose.

  • Suppose you intend on sharing your job sheets with customers but want an internal workshop copy for JDS or Printing. In that case, We suggest you make the customer document the master/default on your job board and switch the template to your internal version from JDS or when you print.

Steps to create a booking form

  1. Go-to the settings area in Backoffice.

  2. Click Templates from the side navigation list.

  3. Click +New template (or use an existing one).

  4. Select Job.

  5. Locate the Template properties section on the left side

  6. Enter a friendly name in the Name input "Booking form".

  7. Edit the properties to adjust your template settings and layout.

  8. Select the Terms option (turn on)

  9. Optionally adjust the attachments setting to show larger images on additional pages.

  10. Select the Signature box option (turn on)

  11. Click Save
