Overview

When you stop the timer or log time, we provide an option for Non-billable time. If you uncheck this option, we provide the following message: "Check to exclude from client billing." By unchecking this option, you enable the selection of labor rates and the calculation of billable charges, which will be added to the work order charges.

Steps:

Once you uncheck the Non-billable time option, additional options will be revealed, including the following:

  1. Labor Rates:

    • You can choose from predefined labor rates that have been added to the price book.

    • These labor rates are identified with the prefix "LAB," followed by a unique identifier or name.

  2. Selected Labor Rate:

    • The selected labor rate will be displayed, and you have the option to edit it if needed.

    • This allows you to customize the labor rate based on specific requirements or agreements.

  3. Total Billable Time:

    • The total billable time will be calculated based on the rounded time that has been clocked or registered.

    • The calculation is performed by multiplying the selected labor rate with the rounded time.

When you submit the time, it will be posted in the work order's charges list. This ensures accurate billable time tracking and facilitates transparent invoicing for your clients.

Note: Configure and maintain the labor rates in your price book accurately to ensure consistent and accurate billing for your clients.
