What's New in Tudodesk - May 2023

Welcome to another exciting monthly update from Tudodesk! This May, we're thrilled to share two major enhancements that will greatly improve your user experience and streamline your workflow. In addition, we've focused our efforts on expanding the color labels for work orders and introducing advanced time-tracking features.

Expanded Color Labels for Work Orders

To help you manage and organize your work orders more efficiently, we've doubled the options for color labels, expanding from 6 to 12 stunning shades. These labels provide a visually striking and practical way to categorize and prioritize your work orders.

Here are the 12 vibrant colors now available:

  • Red

  • Orange

  • Green

  • Teal

  • Blue

  • Violet

  • Purple

  • Pink

  • Yellow

  • Dark Blue

  • Lime

  • Indigo

Whether it's categorizing work orders by project type, marking priority tasks, or assigning labels for different completion stages, these new color labels will give you an instant visual overview of your workflow. To start using them, head to the work orders section and select a color for each order.

Advanced Time Tracking Features

We've made significant strides in the time-tracking department. This May, we're introducing new timer functionalities, giving you the power to start, pause, resume, and stop timers for each job, ensuring accurate time tracking for all your tasks.

Additionally, we've rolled out a new billing timers feature, enabling you to designate non-billable time, select labor rates from predefined options, and calculate billable charges. These charges will automatically be added to your work order charges, providing a more precise and transparent way of billing.

These updates are designed to make time tracking more accurate, productive, and customizable, which in turn, will enhance your reporting capabilities.

Until next time!
