How to enable SMS messaging
What you should know
To use SMS messaging, you need an SMS enabled phone number activated on your account.
SMS messaging is only available on Tudodesk Business plans and above
You may incur additional charges if you exceed your monthly message limits.
How to activate SMS messaging
SMS phone ID local area dial codes
SMS two way message service is provided by Twilio.
We will provide a local area mobile phone number with two-way SMS support.
We will request a list of local area dial codes so we can obtain a list of possible numbers.
Charges
Phone numbers are FREE* on TD Business, Business Pro and Enterprise for line rental in the UK, US, CA. US line rental + 200 credits starts at $9.99 per month billed quarterly.
We provide 100 message credits (inbound + outbound)
Additional messages are charged monthly at Twilio standard message rates + 10% and are billed automatically to your account/card.
Numbers are allocated on a rental basis. Failure to keep up your subscription will result in your number being disconnected from your account.
*Numbers in AU require an additional SMS payment pack (min $14.99 USD P/M). We will notify you based on line-rental and usage rates.
Numbers are non-transferable. Numbers can be transferred to a new Tudodesk account upon request.
