What's this for?

What you should know

  • SMS messaging is set-up with all paid business plans.

  • At the time of posting we can not port or connect your existing business number.

  • To use SMS messaging, you need an SMS enabled phone number activated on your account (We will issue a number and install it in your account)

  • SMS messaging is only available on Tudodesk Business plans and above

  • You may incur additional charges if you exceed your monthly message limits.


How to activate SMS messaging

If you don't see an active SMS number in the top left of the navigation bar, please reach out to [email protected] for assistance.

Set-up (activation)

  1. Click on the "SMS Setup" icon located on the top-left side of the navigation bar.

  2. Open the Panel: This action will display the SMS setup panel on the left side of the screen.

  3. Input MSISDN: Enter your full MSISDN number, ensuring it includes the "+" sign and country code (e.g., +14159009000). Do not insert any spaces.

  4. Route Messages: Choose the default routing board. Any new messages received will open tickets on this board.

  5. Activation Code: Input the 4-digit code provided by the support team along with your MSISDN.

  6. Finalize: Click the "Activate" button to complete the setup.


Change the default routing board

  1. Click on the SMS number in the top nav bar.

  2. From the side panel adjust the board settings and Save.
