We're excited to announce we have a recent update that brings improved printing to back-office, and improved label printing from the browser and Print Node. These new features won't save trees, but they will save you time and energy.

Turn your workshop to digital — save the planet?
If you want to save trees you can reduce your printing by using our digital job-travellers via JDS (Job Display System). The Job Display System is a tool that helps your team to set-up either a single stand-alone display – or multiple displays that prompts what jobs need to be processed and when.

Choose which template you print (previously only possible using our Print Node integration.)
Print JOB labels from the browser or JDS (1x2, 4x4, 6x4.)

Print Node is not for everybody, so we have improved our browser print engine, the new print modal offers:
Faster one-click printing via the browser print preview panel.
Before the print option would open the document in a new browser tab allowing you to manually print. This upgrade now opens the document automictically in the browser print window.Choose a custom template

Better label printing
If you manufacture products or check-in customers items this new feature will help you quickly print job labels so you can identify the work you have.
We have made some significant improvements so you can print labels using either Print Node or your browser. The new label templates provide either 1x2 (25x50mm) 4x4 (100x100mm) or 6x4(150x100mm) sizes, and they will scale onto your print media. This should help you find the right fit for your label needs.
Batch label printing with Print Node
You can easily print batches of labels using the batch menu from the live boards or a filtered list of jobs.
Custom template printing
The new browser print modal provides access to your custom templates so you can switch and choose which template you use for printing. This is ideal for printing internal job-sheets or customers-copies.
