Spooky season 👻 is upon us again. That fast!

And what's even scarier is Thanks Giving and 🎄 Christmas are just around the corner.

We're excited to share news about our roll-out of automated printing using Print Node and Macros. Item level descriptions for estimates, invoices and jobs. And finally attachments for automated emails.

Power up this 🎃 Halloween with spooky automated printing from Print Node

Unless you've been in 🕯️Dracula's dungeon, you could not have missed our recent integration to Print Node. Print node removes all the hassle of printing documents from the web-browser, from any device to any printer. We have now added this into Macros, so you can print documents automatically when you update Jobs, send estimates, invoices or shipping notes.

To get this working, you will need a Print Node account - Read this post to get started.

To automate the printing of a document from a Macro. Add, or edit an existing macro. Under section 3 (Run a command) Select Integrations (API) - The integrations drop-down, select Print Node, Then from the Print drop-down select the desired Printer. Click Publish and you've created some Spooky magic right there. (Don't forget you will need to create a Print Node account first, set-up your local printers and give us your API Key).

Create more compelling specifications with Item-level descriptions.

We are rolling out item-level specifications to all documents. You can now add more compelling detail to your items in estimates, invoices and jobs.

If you don't see this feature yet, drop support an email we will get you updated.

Add attachments to automated notifications.

You can now share document attachments with customers through automated emails. When turned on, on any specific automated email, any attachments on the source document get added as file attachments to the email.

Use the feature with caution as "any" attachments on a document will be shared, but this feature has some cool use-cases we know you will like.

Sharing:

  1. Photos of customers items when they are checked in.

  2. Photos of work-in-progress.

  3. CAD, PDF specs of customers for approval.

To set this up - Head over to the automation screen, select the automation where you want attachments shared, scroll down to any specific email in the automation series and check "File attachments" under the attachments box.

We are all about automation, saving time and improving the customer experience; these new features bring more value and time-saving functionality!

Have a tremendous Spooky Season 👻👻👻

More updates are coming soon.

P.S. If you need any help setting these up features, use our in-app support or reply back to this email, our support team an help you get set-up.
