Welcome to Tudodesk Mobile, your go-to solution for managing work orders and tasks directly from your smartphone or tablet. With Tudodesk Mobile, you can stay connected and productive wherever you are, thanks to its real-time capabilities and user-friendly interface.


How install Tudodesk Mobile on IOS or Android

Follow the guide below to get set-up and installed on both Android and IOS devices. You can run Tudodesk mobile on small devices (phones) or tablets.


Exploring Board Views and Customizing Layouts

When you first launch Tudodesk Mobile, you'll find yourself in the board view, where you can manage your tasks and work orders efficiently. Let's delve into how you can navigate through various views and customize your layout preferences.

Accessing Board View:

Starting in Board View:

Upon launching the app, you will automatically enter the board view. Here, you can visualize your tasks and work orders organized in different columns based on their statuses.

Switching to Board View:

At any time within the app, you can enter the board view by tapping the icon with nine small squares located on the bottom menu bar. This provides quick access to your current tasks and work orders.

Customizing Layouts and Views:

Menu Button (Three Vertical Dots):

In the top-right corner of the screen, you'll find the menu button represented by three vertical dots. Tapping on this button reveals additional options, including layout preferences and view settings.

Switching Between Dark and Light Mode:

From the menu options, you can toggle between dark and light mode based on your preference. Choose the mode that suits your visual comfort and enhances your user experience.

Choosing Layout Preferences:

Within the menu, you can also select your preferred layout style for the board view.

Options include super light, light, full, and full with image, allowing you to customize the appearance of your board based on your preferences and workflow requirements.

By utilizing these navigation features and customization options, you can tailor Tudodesk Mobile to suit your individual needs and workflow preferences. Whether you're managing tasks on-the-go or optimizing your productivity, Tudodesk Mobile offers flexibility and convenience at your fingertips.



Accessing Search

Switching to Search View:

  • To access the search functionality, tap the magnifying glass icon located on the bottom menu bar.

  • This action will switch you to the search view, allowing you to perform searches across different modes.

Document Search Mode:

  • Upon entering the search view, you'll automatically enter document search mode.

  • Here, you can perform lookups for jobs by various criteria such as title, reference, serial number, color, job ID, and more.

Switching search mode:

  • If you want to search for customers or products instead, you can easily switch categories.

  • Tap the hamburger icon on the left of the top menu bar to reveal additional options.

  • From the dropdown menu, select the desired category (customer or product) to switch your search focus.


How to add new documents to the board

Navigating the Add Menu:

  • Upon tapping the plus icon, you'll access the Add menu, where you can initiate the creation of new documents.

  • The options available in the Add menu will vary depending on the current view or board you're in. For example:

    • If you're viewing the Invoice board, you'll have the option to add a new invoice.

    • If you're on the Estimate board, you can add a new estimate, and so on.


Updating and editing jobs on boards

Locating the Quick Menu Icon:

  • Look for the icon with three vertical dots, usually located in the corner of any card on the board. This icon represents the document quick menu.

Performing Actions from the Quick Menu:

  1. Opening Documents:

    • From the quick menu, you can choose the "Open" option to view the details of the selected document in full.

  2. Editing Documents:

    • Select the "Edit" option from the quick menu to make changes to the content or details of the document. This allows you to update information as needed.

  3. Updating Status:

    • If you need to change the status of the document, select the "Update Status" option from the quick menu. This enables you to move the document through different stages of your workflow.

  4. Printing Documents:

    • Choose the "Print" option from the quick menu to generate a physical or digital copy of the document.

  5. Changing Priority or Label Color:

    • To adjust the priority or label color of the document, select the respective options from the quick menu. This helps in categorizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.

By utilizing the document quick menu in Tudodesk Mobile, you can efficiently manage and update your jobs and documents directly from the board view, ensuring smooth workflow progression and accurate tracking of tasks.


Opening and Editing Jobs on Tudodesk Mobile

In Tudodesk Mobile, you can easily access and edit job details directly from the board view. This allows you to efficiently manage your tasks and ensure accurate information tracking. Let's explore how you can open and edit jobs to streamline your workflow.

Opening Job Details:

  1. Tap the Header of a Job Card:

    • To open the details of a specific job, simply tap on the header of the corresponding job card on the board.

    • This action will bring up an overview of the job, providing access to essential information and editing options.

    • You can Edit the document by hitting the Edit button in the right of the menu bar.

Overview

  1. Upload Photos:

    • From the job overview, you can upload photos related to the job. This helps in documenting progress or capturing additional information as needed.

  2. Edit Job Summary and Information:

    • Modify the job summary and update information directly from the overview. This ensures that all details are up-to-date and accurately reflect the status of the job.

  3. Copy Job to Another Board:

    • If necessary, you can copy the job to another board to create an invoice or estimate. This simplifies the process of generating related documents and streamlines workflow transitions.

  4. Editing Pricing:

    • Adjust pricing details as required directly from the job overview. This allows for flexibility in managing pricing information and ensures accuracy in billing processes.

  5. View Related Messages and Documents:

    • Access related SMS and email messages exchanged with the customer directly from the job overview. This provides context and facilitates communication management.

    • Additionally, view related documents such as child jobs, ensuring comprehensive visibility into the job's details and associated tasks.

Edit mode

To edit the job hit the edit button in the top menu bar.

By leveraging the job overview in Tudodesk Mobile, you can efficiently open and edit job details, upload necessary files, and manage related communication and documents, ensuring smooth workflow management and task completion.


Notification Center in Tudodesk Mobile

Stay informed and up-to-date with the Notification Center in Tudodesk Mobile. Whether it's new messages from customers, comments on jobs, or app notifications, the Notification Center keeps you in the loop with important updates. Let's explore how you can access and manage notifications effectively.

Accessing the Notification Center

  • Avatar Icon on Menu Bottom Bar: To access the Notification Center, tap on your avatar icon located in the bottom-left corner of the menu bottom bar.

Managing Notifications:

Notification Light Indicators: Keep an eye on the notification light next to your avatar icon. Different colors signify different types of notifications:

  • Green: Indicates new or unread messages from customers.

  • Amber: Signifies that someone has left a comment on a job.

  • Red: Indicates app notifications or other important alerts.

Viewing Unread Messages:

  • From the Notification Center, you can view unread email and SMS messages received from customers. Stay on top of communication and respond promptly to customer inquiries.

Checking Recent Job Comments:

  • Stay informed about recent comments left on jobs. This allows you to track discussions, updates, and feedback related to specific tasks or projects.

Reviewing Unread Notifications:

  • Quickly review unread notifications to stay informed about app updates, reminders, or other relevant alerts.

Profile Management:

  • Edit your profile details and upload a photo directly from the Notification Center. Ensure that your profile information is accurate and up-to-date.

Accessing Time Sheet:

  • Easily access your time sheet from the Notification Center. Track your working hours and monitor your productivity effortlessly.

By utilizing the Notification Center in Tudodesk Mobile, you can efficiently manage and stay updated with important notifications, messages, and comments, ensuring smooth communication and workflow management.
