UPC, EAN Barcodes in Tudodesk workshop software
In Tudodesk ERP, you can add multiple barcodes that can be scanned. These can be captured on any standard product and used for scanning/selling and inventory management without sacrificing the ability to identify products internally using the product code. You can also use internally created barcodes on your work orders to help you scan/identify jobs with a scanner.
Supported bar codes are
EAN-13 and EAN-8
UPC-A and UPC-E
Code128
Code39
How bar code codes work
Tudodesk lets you capture barcodes and assign them to products, parts or services in your price book. You can also scan internally created barcodes displayed on your PDF work orders and documents.
Tudodesk lets you capture codes and scan them in the following ways:
Adding products, parts or services to your work orders, invoices and estimates.
Add inventory adjustments when using or receiving parts and consumables such as paint or aggregate.
Assigning physical barcodes on products to your corresponding products in Tudodesk.
Adding and editing codes to products or parts individually
Navigate to Prices/Products from the side menu.
Click Create>Add Product or edit an existing product.
Under General info, you will find the barcode option.
Enter or scan the barcode into the barcode field.
Click Save.
Importing bar codes in bulk
Using the batch import feature, you can import barcodes alongside your products and prices.
If you already have a price list of products, parts or services in Tudodesk, you will first want to download that list as a CSV file; you can edit the list in a spreadsheet and add your barcodes. After you have done this, you can re-import the list to update the barcodes for each Product.
