What's this for?

This tutorial will show you how auto-survey a customer when a job or repair is completed or shipped.

Using an automation removes the need to use a macro or manually send the surveys.

What you should know

  • You can send customer surveys and collect reviews on Google, Yelp or Trust Pilot.

  • You will need to install the NPS Survey board from the board template Gallery.

  • You will need the survey board automation turned on and to have added your review link to the Promoter automated response email - Follow this tutorial.

  • If you use a macro to send your surveys be sure to remove it after you have automated this process.

Steps

  1. Goto your workshop job or repair board where you mark jobs as completed, returned, picked up or shipped.

  2. Click the Automation button in the top menu bar.

  3. Click the + Create an automation button.

  4. Enter 'Send survey' or a memorable human title for this automation.

  5. From the Event is drop-down, select Status Changed (Moved).

  6. From the Status is drop-down, identify the Status that reflects the job has been returned back to the customer. In most of our board set-ups, this should be Shipped/Closed. You may have something different.

  7. Click the round + button in the centre automation builder screen.

  8. Select Send survey from the list of actions in the left pop-out panel.

  9. Set any delay required. For example, the delay can be used to give the customer time to receive the items back or try them out before you ask for a survey.

  10. Click Save

  11. Click the Green Save button (round) icon button at the bottom right.

  12. Click Turn on in the bottom centre of the screen.
