Better visualize workflows with the new progress widget.

Visualize the completeness of jobs along your workflow based on the percentage completed.

If you have seen the new progress bar in the document header panel, you have probably wondered what it is for our why it is not moving.

Whilst the workflow clearly shows how far along your path a document, process or job may be, it is not an accurate indicator of completeness.

As you map out your workflow to cover your specific process, you may find that a job may not move through all stages to arrive at that completed moment. Sometimes you may have multiple aligning stages representing different processes or tasks but signal the same distance in your workflow journey.

The new progress bar can help your team visualize where you are on the journey to completion.

How does it work

You can now set the percentage complete (0-100) each step in your workflow represents. As your document (job) moves along your workflow, the progress bar displays that percentage as a green bar (0-100%).

How do I set it up

  1. Go to your board view.

  2. Select Show menu

  3. Select Edit stages

  4. Set the percentage complete for each status in your workflow

  5. Click Save

  6. Congrats, you can now track your projects by percentage complete.
