Merge contacts
In your Tudodesk account, it is possible to merge two contacts into one. Before you merge your contacts, understand what happens behind the scenes to your data.
Please note: once you have merged two contacts, it is not possible to undo this action.
How to merge contacts
In the Tudodesk back-office, navigate to the contacts view.
Search for the primary contact (the one to keep).
Open the contacts profile view.
Click Actions in the top menu bar.
Select Merge.
Search and select the secondary contact (the one to merge).
Click Merge.
It may take a few minutes for all activities to merged.
What happens when I merge two contacts?
We maintain the email address of the primary
We retain the contact name and address of the primary
We retain all the settings of the primary.
We move any documents such as invoices and work orders to the primary account, this updates contact name, address to those of the primary.
We move any files associated with the secondary to the primary.
We move any comments or messages of the secondary to the primary.
