What's this for?
As your business grows, it gets more and more challenging to keep your data clean. With information coming from more places β inbound, imports, form submissions, and more β inevitably, it's necessary to clean things up. Today's update helps you remove duplicated customer accounts and keep your database tidy.
How it works
Navigate to the Contacts view in the left side menu bar
Use the search option to find the primary contact (this is the account you want to keep)
Open the contacts profile view
Click the Actions button in the top menu bar.
Select the Merge option.
Search for and select the secondary contact you want to merge into the primary contact.
Click Merge when you are ready.
Once you complete the process, both contacts activities are merged into one.
Please be aware that it can take a few minutes to sync all the contacts activities and assets.
Caution
Once you merge two contacts, it can not be un-done.
