Because Tudodesk has to load open documents every time you log in, boards with many open documents may reduce load time and generally reduced usability. We suggest having fewer than 1,000 open documents at any one time (and under 500 if there are a lot of attachments or line items on the documents).

If you've noticed Tudodesk loading more slowly, we recommend the following options to improve performance:

Archive old/unused documents

Archive individual documents, or archive older documents all-at-once using the list archive option. You can clean your boards and set-up automatic archiving rules to keep things tidy using the auto archive tool.

  1. Navigate to your boards.

  2. Select a board.

  3. Select a list on the board.

  4. Click show menu [..].

  5. Select Preferences.

  6. Click Auto archive tickets.

  7. Set the maximum time a ticket remains on the list (after in-activity).

  8. To clean the list immediately click Run now.

Archive documents individually

Archive documents by clicking Archive on the project actions menu (Click show menu [...] when looking at a document) learn more.

Batch Archive documents

When looking at board or list view, you can batch select documents and archive them from the batch menu on the sub-menu bar.

  1. Check the documents to archive in the left column (Tick the box).

  2. Select the batch menu (located on the right side of the sub-menu bar).

  3. Select Archive.

  4. From the Archive modal, Click Run.

Archive documents using your macro buttons

You can add the archive command on your macro buttons to remove documents as they are updated. For example, when a macro button marks a job as completed.

FAQ: Are archived documents deleted?

No. Archived documents remain in your system indefinitely. Archived documents are removed from boards but remain in project folders, customer profiles and are locatable through search.

Un-archiving documents.

You can look up an archived document from the project folder, customer profile page, subdocuments, or document search. Under the project folder (click show-menu [...] when viewing a document.) and select the Unarchive option.
