Message a subset of customers on your job board with a templated message.
Notify customers in your job queue of delays.
Notify customers of closures or holiday periods.
What you should know
You can send a templated manual message for example, customers with open tickets on your job board.
Tudodesk will route any replies into the message centre so you and your team can track conversations.
Steps
You can target your mass email at either customer's who have an open ticket on any board, for example, customers with jobs that are queued. Or, you can create a segmented list that fits your filters.
Targeting tickets on a board (for example queued jobs).
Navigate to the job board.
Locate the queued status and view.
Select each job to whom you would like to message, or select one job (by clicking the checkbox in the left column)
Click the Batch button on the right side of the board menu (this should have a number indicator of the number of tickets selected). Note: The batch button is disabled if no jobs are selected.
If you wish to target ALL tickets on the queued status, click the Select all option.
When you are happy with your ticket selection, click the Batch button and select the Send message option.
Write your message in the editor window. You can insert template tags from the {{...}} menu personalize your message.
Click Send
Targeting tickets from a segmented list (for example all open jobs).
Navigate to the document board (click the document icon in the side menu bar).
Click Add filters.
Select Board.
Select the desired board to target (Jobs).
Click +Add filter.
Click Add filters.
Select Archive.
Select Open.
Click +Add filter.
This returns a list of ALL open jobs.
Note: you will need to scroll down to load all the results. The results are paged 20 at a time; this protects from sending thousands of messages.
If you are happy with the results, follow the above steps from (3) to complete.
Notes
The batch message feature is designed for sending bulk messages to small groups of customers (1-200 messages). If you need to send bulk messages you should consider exporting your customers and using a mass email product such as Mail-gun, or Mailchimp.
It is ideal for targeting customers of particular stages of your job board, for example, customers in a waiting list.
