What's this for?
Your team may want to hide, re-organize, rename, and resize the columns shown on the JDS system.
What you should know
You can use the JDS (Job display system) as a paperless job traveller.
You can set-up different layouts for different stations or displays.
The settings you choose on your JDS device are stored locally. If you wipe your device cache or reset the JDS, your settings are returned to factory defaults.
Steps
Login to JDS
Column sizing and ordering
Columns can be stretched, reduced, or re-arranged to help you get the best view of your tickets on different size screens. You can re-arrange columns by dragging the headings left and right. You can re-size by click on the vertical borders.
Notes
When you change column sizes or order we save your layout so it sticks on your device.
Column renaming
Columns can be renamed under the settings option.
Click on your avatar in the top right menu.
From the menu select Settings
Scroll down to the column names section.
Rename Title, Ref and Reason accordingly.
Click Save.
Note you will need to complete this process on each separate device.
