How to bump tickets in JDS

  • You can use the JDS (Job display system) as a paperless job traveler.

  • You view your jobs and work-orders from JDS on the workshop floor.

  • Your team can bump tickets using JDS as tasks complete

  • JDS will record checkpoint timing as your team bumps tickets. These timings will help you track how long tasks take.

Steps

  1. Login to JDS

  2. Open a JOB into the viewer by clicking the magnifying glass alongside an active Job.

  3. Click the Play button.

  4. From the status drop-down, select the desired status for the job.

  5. Enter a comment or note; we record this into the jobs activity feed.

  6. Click Bump status.
