Personalize how you check in new work with custom forms
There is a belief that the quicker you get work into your funnel, the quicker it will arrive out the other end, and the faster that happens, the more work you can pour in.
Today's new feature makes it faster to check in new work and helps you create more personalized workflows that requires your team only to collect the necessary information when you create new documents.
The old way was a little clunky. You had to pass through multiple forms and clicks to get everything you needed, customer info, job details, photos and perhaps a signature.
The new way lets you take all that process and contain it seamlessly in one step flow, then put the job for example on your board where you need it.
Faster, simpler, personalized
It's awesome!
You can set up multiple customized workflows for checking in jobs and repairs or creating new documents such as work-orders or invoices. The whole process is totally under your control.
Only collect what you need
Specify custom properties for greater data capture
Enter pricing
Upload files and photos
Capture customer signature
Print, preview or run macros
In the side navigation, you will find this new feature under the + Quick shortcuts menu. If you have existing shortcuts added for creating new documents, you can upgrade them to the new version.
Set up a tablet-friendly step-by-step process
With this new feature, you can check in work from a tablet, take photos, capture the customer's signature, print a copy, and schedule the job on your board in one seamless form.
Works great for:
Checking in repairs at POS
Booking new work on the shop floor
Creating work-orders and Invoices
