Tudodesk integration with Vend HQ POS for repair management.

Vend HQ is cloud-based retail (POS) and e-commerce management software. It is an excellent solution for managing in-store and online sales.

The Tudodesk integration will help you post repairs to Vend POS as laid-away transactions so you or your staff can collect payment.

With the Tudodesk repair management software you can:

  1. Log repairs

  2. Track jobs and status

  3. Automate messaging to customers via SMS and Email

  4. Log repair requirements and issues

  5. Track photos of parts and items

  6. Provide live repair tracking via the customer portal

  7. Send repair estimates and request customer approval

  8. Collect payment using Stripe Payments.

  9. Create repair booking forms and internal work-orders.

  10. Survey customers when repairs are collected and grow social presence and local search.


Overview

If you use Tudodesk for repair management in your repair business and Vend HQ for in-store management and sales. In that case, you may want to collect payments over the counter when repairs are ready using the Vend POS Ipad application.

Tudodesk sends repairs to Vend and the customer details to save on double entry. In addition, repairs are posted as laid-away transactions, so your staff only have to collect payment to complete them.

Ideal for:

  • Watch or Jewelery stores.

  • Music stores.

  • Vendors that provide repairs or serving.

Getting started

  1. You will need a paid active Tudodesk subscription.

  2. An active account with Vend HQ.

  3. Contact [email protected] to activate the Vend integration.


Importing Vend contacts

Before you start, if you are existing customers in VendHQ you may want to export these as a CSV file and then import them into Tudodesk.


How it works

  1. New repairs are added to Tudodesk.

  2. Existing customers are looked-up, or a new customer is added.

  3. The details concerning the repair and pricing are added to the repair ticket in Tudodesk.

  4. In Tudodesk, you can upload photos of parts and message the customer via SMS or Email.

  5. When payment is required, the repair Tudodesk creates a laid-away transaction by passing the customer, repair ticket details and pricing to Vend.
