How to change a document cover photo

What's this for?

  • How to automatically change the cover photo which displays in the header of the document view in back-office

Overview

  • Automatically we assigned the first attachment you uploaded as a cover photo.

  • To see cover photos in document view or list view (from boards or saved lists), you must first turn them on.

How to turn on cover photos when in document view

  1. Goto the board (for example, the jobs board).

  2. Click the show menu top right side in the sub-menu.

  3. Select Board set-up.

  4. Select properties in the top navigation tabs.

  5. Scroll down to the Modules section.

  6. Select and turn on the first option, Document thumbnail.

  7. Click the green save button bottom right.

How to show thumbnails in board and list views

  1. Goto the board (for example, the jobs board).

  2. In the top sub-menu on the right side (3rd icon in) is the column selector. Click this button.

  3. From the column lists, select Img sml.

  4. Click Save.

How to change a document cover (thumbnail)

  1. Locate the document

  2. Click Show menu

  3. Select Files

  4. Hover over any of the project files and click the image icon. This will assign that file as the cover photo to the document.

  5. If a file is attached to the document but not show in the project files list, you can drag it from the documents attachment pane and drop it in the project files folder.
