Ticket timing analysis
Time and time again, workshop owners ask us how they can time how long jobs and work-processes take. More often than not, the first solution that springs to mind is task timing. Task timing involves asking your team to time how long a task takes. This turns out to often be an impractical solution.
Checkpoint timing is where we measure how long your tickets, for example, a job ticket sit on a stage of your process. By measuring these key checkpoints we can come up with some impressive stats on how long jobs take and what part of a job is taking the longest.
