What's new in Tudodesk — March 2021

This month at Tudodesk, we're announcing more product updates to help you customize your boards, stay informed with improved commenting and track board metrics.

We have made changes to help you customize your boards to choose what information your team see's. You can now click on the column button and hide, show columns. Layouts get saved globally so all your team can enjoy your handy work.

Thanks to modern browsers, we have removed our long term use of Google fonts and switched to built-in system fonts across devices. Using system fonts improves load times and readability. Let us know what you think!

We are all about going paperless, but there are times when a printed report of all jobs to run today or estimates that are not approved can be a handy tool. We have added a new feature to help you do just that. Now you can print a tidy report of your batch document selections. Batch select some documents from the board or segments view, click Batch the click Print report.

Commenting is a great way to share notes internally with your team. Today, we have added an update to make it easier to stay informed on your team's comments and messages. We have added a notification to the message centre for new comments. If your team posts a comment on a document or job, you will see an immediate notification. You can read the thread and reply without having to leave whatever you were doing in the main window.

We have added file/photo uploads to comments. You can now privately share photos of jobs in progress or project files without using the public attachments feature.
