Set-up

  • Tudodesk back-office (Browser)

What's this for?

  • If you are a powder coating or finishing shop you can assign one or more colors (finishes) to a work-order.

What you should know

  • You can assign multiple colors to a job.

  • You can display color assignments on printed job sheets or the Job Display System (JDS)

Steps

  1. Locate the Job to assign colors for.

  2. Scroll down to the summary section.

  3. Select the color picker (click the magnify/search icon).

  4. When the color selector loads - click a pre-loaded color from the list.

  5. To select multiple colors, first select the 'multi-row' checkbox in the footer. Then click the checkbox beside each color required. Click 'Confirm selection'.

Manually add colors

  1. From the color picker select + New item in the top bar.

  2. Enter your color name, SKU and the RGB color code if available.

  3. Click Save.

Batch-load your RAL, Dupont, PPG color chart in CSV format

  1. From the color picker select + New item in the top bar.

  2. Click Import CSV list.

  3. From the Import tool select your CSV file and follow the on screen instructions.

Powder Coating RAL Colors (RGB/HEX) CSV File - Free download

Download the CSV file below. This file contains a complete RAL colors list with RGB color codes and a Name + Code combined column for powder coating shops.

After you have downloaded this file you can import it into the color picker using the steps detailed above. Make sure you map the Code, RGB and combined columns in the tool.

Managing your color list with a CSV file.

You can manage a list of colors in a Google Spreadsheet. As you update the list periodically you can import the sheet into Tudodesk as a CSV file. When you do this we will replace your color list entirely with the contents of your CSV.
