First off, Can I say? Thank you — what a remarkable journey this has been.

Three months ago, the world hit turmoil with a near-global shut-down.

Like many businesses, we faced a decision.

Kick back, bunk in, eat Pizza and watch 100 Episodes of The Office on Netflix?

Or, close the door, turn on the screens, bulk buy 1000's coffee capsules, and build the Next-generation Tudodesk for our biggest supporters - You, our customers.

So before I continue. Thank you for all your support, feedback, and patience while we took a well-earned break, and caught up on some much missed NETFLIX!

I'm kidding.

After 3 months or Quarantine, a lot of coffee and hard work...

I am delighted to tell you that over the last few weeks, the rollout began of Tudodesk20 — our most significant, biggest update with more than 120 fixes, features, and updates.

With fewer distractions, our team managed to cram a ton load of our product roadmap into three months. And we won't be stopping here. A new portal and a life-changing mobile version are following close behind.

It is my hope, despite the evident down-time of businesses world-wide, this exciting news will help you build stronger, more robust businesses into the future.

Here is what we have done for version 20.

It's brighter.

We need a fresh start. So, we decided to freshen up our UI with a brighter, more refreshing look. We have removed the clutter and added more value to make your workspace a better place to be.

Improved analytics

Measuring your results today, compared to your results yesterday, is key to growth. With a faster, better dashboard, you can see the metrics that can help you grow. We bundled more metrics, and there are still more to come.

New segmented views, saved views, and updated boards.

We've made the boards cleaner and more comfortable to view on smaller screens with scrollable tables, and sortable views. It just looks way better. We introduced a whole new way to display your data too. Now you can create SMART VIEWS of the documents and customers that matter to you. Once saved, these views update automatically as your tickets and customers match their filters. There like task lists on steroids. We added a whole bunch of filters and searches to make finding your data easier. This has been a big focus and change.


Batch tasks are here

Need to mark a batch of jobs as Completed, archive a bunch of tickets or print batches of job sheets. Now you can. Update the status, archive, label, and print on entire batches of tickets. It's like a dream come true.


Batch messaging

Imagine if you could send a personal message to all customers with an active order? Now you can. Define the segment and message an entire batch of customers with a unified message.

New message editor, with template tags and file attachments

We built a brand new message editor, added easier template tags and file attachments improving our built in messaging a step further.


Improved messaging and mail-boxes

We know how hard it was to find read messages. We added a whole new message center so you can scroll through new and old messages. Star important messages and find all messages from customers in a click.

SMS messaging

More customers world-wide prefer text messages. Tudodesk now provides TWO-WAY SMS messaging in the same inbox as your email. Send messages directly to customers' phones. This is paid feature that needs to be activated.

Cleaner, more flexible forms to suit your business

Now you can customize job sheets to suit your business needs. Add more fields and customize input labels. It's like building a custom product suited to you. Many of you needed more fields to store more information. We have listened.

Better product catalog, service pricing.

We have improved our product catalog so you can group products and services. Add custom pricing and service rates .

Import-export data

New controls allow you to batch enter or import product lists and customers in CSV format. Its now a breeze to import your customers and products.

Calendar view (early release)

View your active jobs on the calendar, adjust schedules and plan your weeks ahead. This is an early release feature so if you have feedback its welcome.

Over the coming weeks, I will break down these features and show you how to use them in your business every day.
