How to log your first customer job or repair in less than a min.

Follow the steps below to add your first Job, Repair ticket.

  1. Navigate to your job, repair board. Click the boards icon in the left-side bar. Select your job board from the lift on the left.

  2. Click the '+' button shown in the bottom right.

This will open the create new ticket view.

Add a customer

For our first job ticket we can use the search box to find a customer. Type "John doe". As you type it will start searching for matches. The "John Doe" account is linked to your admin email so its a good starting place to add your first ticket.

If you prefer you can add a new customer account using the button provided.

Filling in the job details

  1. Fill in the title of the job. Generally you should use specific key words that will help you find the job later, For example if the job is a repair use the make, model year of the item, or the description of the job.

  2. If the item has a serial number or if the customer has a reference you can add this in the box provided.

  3. If you want, you can add the job instructions to the summary box, or if you prefer you will be able to do it in the next step.

  4. Click the "Create" button to complete.

  5. After a moment your new ticket will be auto-numbered and opened on-screen in-view.
