What the user roles and how do they restrict access.

Administrator
The administrator role has the highest level of access and is privileged only to the user who created the domain account (organization). The administrator has full control to the account, settings and domain and is the only user who can manage the subscription and billing of the account as well as deactivating other users

Admin
Any Tudodesk user can be granted the Admin role. The admin role has all the same level of access to the account, data and settings but has no access to billing or subscription upgrades.

Admin users can access

  • Settings

  • Company settings - name, address, currency.

  • Agents - view, edit, change the role of other agents except the administrators account.

  • Widgets

  • Coupons

  • Integrations

  • User privacy

  • Automation's

  • The macro bar

  • Board settings

  • Templates

  • Canned messages

  • Access custom macro buttons on the custom macro bar restricted to 'Admins only'

Agents
Agents have restricted access and in general are not privileged with access to the settings of the domain. But other wise can access all boards, transaction data, documents, messages, files and contacts.

Agents can not access:

  • Settings

  • Company settings

  • Agents

  • Widgets

  • Coupons

  • Integration settings such as payment gateways

  • User privacy

  • Automations

  • The macro bar - Settings and any button's set as "Admin only"

  • Board settings

Users/Technicians
These are the lowest grade of user on an account and have high level of restriction. This account is designed for production floor users who don't need direct access to your company data.

Users inherit all of the restrictions of an agent plus:

  • No access to the message center

  • No access to the feed

  • No access to search

  • No access to the project document explorer

  • No access to notifications.
