How to change the title of a document from estimate to quote.

Occasionally you may want to change the title of your document from an estimate to a quote or vica versa. If you are certain of the price of the service or goods you are providing for your customer, you may want to use a quote. If you are uncertain of the price of the service or goods you are providing for your customer, you may want to use an estimate. Using these two forms of price indication correctly helps you to maintain clear communication with your customers.

Changing the Title of a Document from an Estimate to a Quote

Click the document code you wish to change the title for as shown below.

Once on the document viewer, click the 'Show menu' button as shown below.

Select 'Edit document Title' from the list shown. 

Enter the new title of your document in the dialogue box, in this case we have changed the word 'Estimate' to 'Quote' and clicked the 'Ok' button afterwards.

The title of the document has now been changed from 'Repair Estimate' to 'Repair Quote.'
